Food and Water: A Priority

Let’s start discussing the zombie apocalypse. If it ever happens, this blog will teach you how to survive it. So let’s get to the basics of survival. There’s things like food, weapons and shelter. Food will essentially be the center of life at this point. Scavenging is important, but be careful. Places like Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, Publix and Costco are all bad places to be. Generally crowded, in the middle of civilization (highest zombie density area) and overall a death trap. You have to remember other people will survive and will fight for over food so walking into a store unarmed is a bad idea. Booby traps are a hazard along with possibly even the undead inhabiting certain areas of a store. If you must scavenge in a town or city, go for small businesses because they generally won’t be crowded. They may not have the necessary bulk you need, but it can help. Any food is better than no food. Another thing is water. Water will practically be currency along with food. Everyone will need it, everyone will kill for it and everyone will be searching for it. Water and food need to be one of your first priorities.
